Since it will be a lot of walking involved, I would advice a constant theme of dressing comfortable. Just because I stress comfort does not mean you throw all fashion sense out the window. Here is what I would pack.

Spring has sprung and now it is time for the music festivals to begin. One of the most known of all the festivals is Coachella which is a 3-day art and music festival that takes place in California. Music genres range from Rock & Roll to Hip Hop to Indie. Coachella has the music down to a science and The Color Tag is here to get you wardrobe ready! Since it will be a lot of walking involved, I would advice a constant theme of dressing comfortable. Just because I stress comfort does not mean you throw all fashion sense out the window. Here is what I would pack. Must Have #1: Dresses that have moment and made of light weight fabric are a must. Maxi dresses is a current popular brand. You can wear heels or sandals. It doesn't matter as long as your comfortable. I have found a lot of dresses at thrift stores that fits this description. Must Have #2: California has the most beautiful weather. Break out those shorts and show some leg. Denim shorts are definitely a classic look, but 2013 is time to break out of the shell. Bright colored and/or patterned shorts are the answer. Must Have #3: Simple T-Shirt. People underestimate the power of a simple t-shirt. The shirt in the middle of the image above is a prime example of simple. It looks really great with her shorts and statement jacket. Must Have #4: Arm Candy (multiple bracelets). Jewelry always helps transform the most basic outfit into something more fashion forward. It is a subtle change that makes all the difference. Layer Up! XoXo
