This weekend I was supposed to have my photoshoot but things happens :(. However, no worries, I can always turn my frown upside down with some thrift-ing. Saturday, I graced the Value Village on Moreland Ave (visit Thrift Store Directory for address). They recently switched to a bigger building. More space means more clothing!
This thrift store run, I decided to take my own advice. I was shopping for the trends I said were fab this spring. I came across some beautiful items. I bought 2 bracelets, a lot of skirts, and a few shirts. I even ventured into the boys sections and found a t-shirt that fits me like a glove. I spent a whomping $40, but I got a lot of great things. I needed that pick me up!
While there I found out that if I had gone on Easter Sunday, I would have only spent $20 on the 10 items because everything was 50% off. Even though I didn't get the discount, I am still a happy thrift-er.
