Thrifted Thoughts

I have two topics of discussion. I promise to make it short and sweet!

Topic No. 1: My Thrift Store Run

So I finally had a chance to spend some time in one of my favorite thrift stores last weekend and I SCORED BIG! I did my usual scouting of the clothing racks. Of course, I found a lot of the current fashion trending apparel.  This trip, however, was a little different. I found myself actively searching for some home appliances. What I saw was truly a sight to see. Not only did they have rugs, chairs, books, and bicycles, but they had what I needed the most... A VACUUM! I even bought some bathroom decor.

Topic No. 2: The Nifty Lifestyle

As sad as it makes me to even write this, but what I'm about to say is true. Thrift stores/ consignment shops/ vintage boutiques can't provide us with every necessity needed. We have to go to the grocery store, gas stations, and sometimes even the Pharmacy's (i.e. CVS, Rite Aid, etc), but guess what... You don't have to pay full price. I have been going crazy in CVS lately. I signed up to receive emails for my ExtraBucks CVS rewards card. I was a little apprehensive initially because I thought they were going to spam my email account with useless emails. However, the opposite happened. Literally, it is like getting money in the mail. I have gotten free soap, free paper towels, free bath needs. I just got an email saying I can get 30% off my next purchase. Not to mention the fact that I already have some ExtraBucks on my CVS card which is CVS money. A great way to save even more is to pair these already insane deals with coupons found in your local newspaper.

Taking my lead from the free stuff I have gotten from CVS, I entered my email address at the Redbox Kiosk. I have been getting some random emails, but a lot of the emails have promo codes that all me to get free movies.

So what is  The Nifty Lifestyle? SAVE at all cost!

Don't believe anything I wrote. Pictures Posted tomorrow! I just had to share my thrifted thoughts for today.
